Hi! I'm Jess, the founder, maker, and dog mom behind Meadow Candle Studio. I've always loved candles, constantly searching for the perfect scent to set a mood. After adopting our first dog, Meadow, in 2021, I learned just how incredibly sensitive dogs' and cats' respiratory systems are compared to humans. This realization highlighted the critical importance of using non-toxic ingredients in our home environment.

I became increasingly aware that many commercially available candles, particularly those found in large retail chains, were often made with paraffin wax and other harmful ingredients. Inspired by this need for safer alternatives, I began experimenting with candle making, determined to create products that were both beautifully scented and truly safe for our home and our loved ones, which of course includes our pets.

Since Meadow, our family has grown and we now have a happy pack of three dogs! Meadow is the oldest, a German Shepherd we believe is about 6.5 years old, who joined us in June 2021 and truly sparked this whole endeavor. Then there's Mayor, another German Shepherd, around 4.5 years old, who brings so much joy and is very much the middle child. And in January 2024, Utah, a Red Field Golden Retriever, completed our home when he was only 10 weeks old.

They're truly the heart and soul of Meadow Candle Studio and the "why" behind every candle I pour.
